Precision Tune-Up
What is a "Precision Tune-Up" (PTU) and why do I need one?
A PTU is a one time, on-site call to check, analyze and clean an outdoor condensing unit and/or an indoor air handling unit.
We have all seen the recent rise in the price of gas. We all tune-up our automobiles to make sure they run more efficiently.
Natural Gas comes from those same wells as the oil, and so does the increase of Natural Gas prices.
Even though technology constantly searches for alternative ways the make electricity, currently Natural Gas is still the main method of electrical generation.
The cost of Natural Gas increases, so does the electrical rates. You need a Precision Tune-Up to help reduce operating costs.
Is there any proof it helps save me money?
YES! Field surveys showed 90% of systems tested had problems with efficiency
and were operating below manufacturer's specifications; 70% were improperly charged; 60% had inadequate airflow;
and more than 80% were operating in adverse conditions.

A heat pump (or air conditioner) loses about 50% of the available efficiency after 20 years due to a deterioration
and blockage of the heat transfer surfaces.

Preventative maintenance restores capacity by 0.5 to 0.75 tons; improves humidity control; reduces running time by
an average of 1.7 hours per day; lowers energy costs with an average monthly savings of $32.76 at 8 cents/kwh.
